When is the actual O/L exam date 2023(2024)?

The A/L exam was successfully held in January and February. Also, the examination date was postponed several times. The reason for this was to give exam candidates time to prepare. Similarly, the Minister of Education issued an announcement a few days ago regarding the conduct of the 2024 O/L examination.

Above is a statement made by Examination Commissioner Amith Jayasundara about the 2024 O/L examination date. Also, he mentions that the 2024 O Level examination was planned to be held in March. However, due to the postponement of the A/L examination, the A/L examination was held till February. Generally, the exam department takes about three months to conduct one exam after starting another. For this reason, he has stated that the 2023 (2024) GCE Ordinary Level examination is currently planned to be held on 6th May 2024.
