2023 Grade 5 Scholarship Exam Related Press Release (15th October 2023)

Above is the press release issued by the examination department about this examination which was for selecting grade 5 students and giving scholarships to schools in Sri Lanka. This was released through all electronic and print media. And by that, all the candidates and education authorities were hereby notified regarding the 2023/2024 examination.

Also, in this exam, between 300,000 and 400,000 grade 5 Sinhala medium and Tamil medium students faced. Also, exams were held in about 3000 halls across the country. Apart from this, around 500 examination coordination centers were established by the examination department across the country. However, as in other years, the examination department was able to conduct the fifth grade scholarship examinations very successfully.

When will 2024 scholarship exam date be held?

Usually in previous years the scholarship exam is held in the month of August. But since the situation in the country is not good, the date of the 2024 scholarship examination cannot be announced with certainty. But we are hoping that the 2024 scholarship exam can be held around September 2024.

In recent times, the examination date has been subject to change due to various reasons. Therefore, O/L, A/L and scholarship exam dates are subject to changes in this manner.
